HISTORY
More than 20 years ago, Satoen Japan corporation sent many experts and agricultural engineers to Vietnam to study and research to establish a suitable cultivation environment for Japanese tea varieties with the following criteria:
- The height of the tea garden must be over 1000 meters height above sea level.
- Fog covers most of day, the temperature difference is high compared to plain.
- The soil is rich in nutrients
Through many evaluations and trials on many lands, Satoen Japanese agricultural experts and engineers chose Van Ho plateau, Son La province to create the tea field.

Factory output:
- Production of Sencha Green Tea: 12,000 kg of raw tea per day.
- Production of Tencha Green Tea: 6,000 kg of raw tea per day (Tencha is the raw material for Matcha production).
- Production of Matcha Green Tea: 200 kg per production shift (8 hours).

- GLOBAL G.A.P (Good Agricultural Practice) is a set of international standards certifying good agricultural practices.
- HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points - hazard analysis and critical control) are the principles used in designing ATTP management system.
- HALAL is an independent certification process by licensed agency/organization to confirm that specific products/services evaluated do not use any Haram ingredients or methods (prohibited substances prescribed by Islamic law).
